Projectiondesign officials said the company plans to demonstrate the new Avielo home cinema DLP projector series at the Venetian Resort Hotel in Las Vegas during the 2009 CES Show, opening this week.
The Avielo Optix single-chip projector displays in full HD 1080p resolution for screen sizes up to 180 degrees diagonal. Featuring six lens options, the unit uses Projectiondesign’s DuArch dual illumination architecture for high performance and extended lamp life.
The entire Avielo series models are designed with professional-grade features such as Phillips UHP VIDI lamp technology, Projectiondesign’s RealColor color management suite, Texas Instruments’ DLP technology, full 10-bit processing, custom-designed optics, and HDMI 1.3 interconnectivity. Each projector is characterized and calibrated before leaving the factory, company officials said.
“Movie professionals from the global cinema industry already rely on our professional series projectors during the production process to ensure continuity and consistency of color,” said Joe Manning, international market manager for home theaters at Projectiondesign, in a statement.
