Wharfedale Professional's EVP-XP series loudspeakers, the powered version of the new EVP-X series, offer increased power handling and improved features over the earlier EVP-P series. The powered loudspeaker features a new elliptical waveguide horn and Wharfedale's 44mm titanium compression driver for superior HF reproduction. The power amplifier sections of the EVP-XP use Class A/B topology and integrate seamlessly to give optimal performance across the range. The 12in. models contain a 300W continuous/400W peak amplifier; other models contain a 400W continous/600W peak amplifier. Dynamic/AGC protection circuitry provides extreme protection at both the driver and the amplifier stage.

The front capsule of MXL Microphones' V67i dual-capsule microphone provides a warm, lush sound, while the mic's back capsule simulates some of the bright-sounding vintage capsules of early '60s-era tube mics. Red LEDs on both sides of the microphone indicate which side is active. The mic features an improved solid-state preamp with balanced transformer output, eliminating the need for an external power supply. On the mic's back side, a -6dB attenuation switch enables better handling of high sound pressure levels, and a low-frequency rolloff switch compensates for proximity effect and eliminates wind noise during outdoor recording.

Digidesign's Digi 002 systems pair Pro Tools LE software with an integrated control surface that lets customers record, edit, process, mix, and master Pro Tools projects efficiently. The portable system can also be used as a standalone 8×4×2 digital mixer complete with EQ, dynamics, delay, and reverb with snapshots. It also now includes the Digi 002 Factory software bundle at no additional charge. In addition, the Digi 002 system includes Pro Tools LE software, the Pro Tools Ignition Pack (with third-party software applications), and 50 Digidesign and Bomb Factory plug-ins.
Symetrix's Lucid GENx192 ultra-low-jitter master clock can handle sampling frequencies up to 192kHz for use in a variety of digital audio applications. The master clock has two operating modes that can be accessed through a straightforward front-panel interface. A synch source select knob allows the operator to choose between internal reference and distribution functions. In distribution mode an external AES or word clock synch source fed into the device appears at each of the GENx192's 14 synch outputs.
The Adamson M-15 multi-purpose, high-performance monitor features a low-profile, symmetrical trapezoid cabinet design that is arrayable and mirror-imageable for a wide range of applications. The monitor exhibits low distortion due to its use of a long-excursion, lightweight ND-15 Kevlar-neodymium driver, which supplies exceptional power handling and solid low-frequency response in a low-profile motor design. The monitor also features Adamson's patented Acoustic Waveguide, as well as an internal crossover, allowing biamped or passive operation. The rugged unit also provides multiple rigging points.

Lectrosonics' UCR401 Digital Hybrid Wireless compact diversity receiver is compatible with the complete range of Digital Hybrid Wireless and analog transmitters, as well as some third-party analog transmitters. The proprietary Digital Hybrid Wireless design combines digital audio with an analog FM wireless link for strong RF reception across 256 user-selectable UHF frequencies. Additional features include SmartSquelch technology, which adjusts squelching behavior dynamically under varying conditions in order to deliver acceptable audio quality from otherwise unusable signals.
Alcons' LR14B high-output bass loudspeaker system is designed as a low-frequency extension to the LR14 ultra-compact ribbon line-array module. The compact cabinet can be flown or stacked, or serve as the basis for a stand-mount triple-LR14 array. Long-excursion 12in. drivers are double-vented and double-tuned in a band-pass loading configuration to achieve a higher efficiency than the conventional front-loading arrangement. The resulting true 100dB (1W/1m, full-bandwidth 46Hz-200Hz) efficiency, in combination with the 3200W power handling, offers a 135dB peak SPL.
