AMX Earns Defense Department Certification
AMX said this week that it has been approved by the U.S. Defense Information Systems Agency’s Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC).
AMX said this week that it has been approved by the U.S. Defense Information Systems Agency’s Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC). The JITC Information Assurance (IA) assessment and certification is testing and evaluation process for ensuring that equipment can be connected to the Defense Information Systems Network and remain secure.
JITC IA Certification ensures AMX provides solutions are compliant with Defense Department Directive 8500.01E. The IT security enhancements of AMX certified products allow the software to lock down access and adhere to IA security parameters, preventing unauthorized access to the approved AMX devices and blocking more than 10,000 kinds of security attacks, according to the company.
AMX’s JITC-certified products include Modero Touch Panels NXT-CV7, NXD-700Vi, NXT-CV10, NXD-1000Vi, NXD-1200V, NXT-1200V, NXD-1200VG, NXT-1200VG, NXD-1500VG, NXT-1500VG, NXD-1700VG, and NXT-1700VG.
Also certified are NetLinx Central Controllers NI-700, NI-900, NI-2100, NI-3100, and NI-4100, as well as AutoPatch Matrix Switchers equipped with RS-232 control ports including the Epica DGX, Epica DG, Epica, Octaire, Modula, Optima, and Precis (when used in conjunction with the NXB-APW-1000 TCP/IP interface).
