The IMS 900 in-ear system is the latest addition to beyerdynamic‘s line of products. The system includes two components: the SE 900 stereo transmitter and the TE 900 stereo pocket receiver. The transmitter accommodates up to eight channels per frequency, reportedly without interference, and includes LEDs for audio levels, combo inputs, and headphone output with volume control. Its 9.5-inch metal casing provides an LC display that indicates the group/channel, and a lock function safeguards against faulty operation. The receiver is equipped with a mono/stereo switch, volume and balance control, and two RF signal antennas. A switchable limiter protects against potential harmful loud noise bursts. Altogether, the in-ear system provides 16 pre-programmed UHF frequencies, for easy setup and quick sound checks, and earphones with every transmitter.
