Listen Technologies Corp. recently unveiled the Wireless Digital Conferencing System, designed for integrators needing to install conferencing microphone systems in challenging locations, such as historical buildings or multiuser venues. A wireless access point, which can be positioned centrally or moved to the most convenient location in the room, provides a strong connection to individual units for a range of approximately 100 feet. The system features high-capacity, removable chargeable battery packs in each discussion unit. To extend battery life, each unit is capable of entering a patent-pending “sleep mode” during longer breaks in conversation. Price: N/A.
