Niveus Media’s Rainier Edition Media Center incorporates Intel Viiv technology, Core Duo and Core 2 Duo processors, an HDMI output, and an HD-DVD player. Packed in an AV component frame, Rainier is based on Windows Media Center 2005 software and offers installation-friendly connections including RS-232, wireless 80211.b/g, an integrated flash card reader, and an integrated IR receiver/blaster. The Niveus Media Center can support up to three TV tuners (two NTSC and one ATSC), 750GB storage, 2GB memory, an ATI X1600 Pro graphics card, and eight channels of audio. The integrated HD-DVD player boasts 1080p output.
