Knipex Tools has debuted a new series of German-made angled pliers and cutters called Orbis. The series includes a pair of one-of-a-kind, 25-degree, 8in., angled, long-nose pliers that features three different-size pulling grooves, preserving a tight grip when holding or pulling round items. Also in the series: a 25-degree, 7.5in. angled combination pliers designed with a greater gripping surface and serrated tips; a 25-degree, 7in. angled diagonal cutter that allows for 30 percent more cutting power; and a 25-degree, 8.75in. angled cable cutter that produces clean cuts on aluminum cables, single and multiple wires, including soft copper up to 2/0 AWG without crushing or deformation. In addition to comfort, the new series allows better sight lines when working in confined spaces, providing the user with the ability to see what is being grabbed, pulled, and cut.
