RF Central, part of The Vitec Group’s RF Systems business unit and a digital microwave-technology provider, is debuting its RFX-RMR-X6-II-D six-way COFDM diversity receiver at NAB Show (Booth C3707). Building on the success of its signature RFX-RMR-X6 and RFX-RMR-X6-II, the RFX-RMR-X6-II-D features an internal SD/HD decoder. Representing the latest in maximum ratio-combining technology, theRMR-X6-II family offers superior diversity reception with new cutting-edge features — including onscreen display of stream data, Ethernet monitoring for remote control access, and IP encapsulation for Internet broadcast. The unit is available as a standalone COFDM receiver with ASI output or with an integral SD/HD decoder, making local decode and control available.
