The company’s zero compression digital technology transmits SDI, HD-SDI, and 3G-SDI signals at rates up to 2.97 Gbps. User-configurable modes suit the device well for transmitting and receiving signals for digital signage and staging applications. Because the extender is a transceiver, it can send and receive multirate SDI signals simultaneously between a pair of FOX HD-SDI units.
