Smith outlines current trends with portable churches and offers his perspective on how current economic forces are steering those who work setting up and tearing down AV equipment for their churches every Sunday. He also relates his considerable experience in modifying sound and video equipment for the rigors of the road. Smith and his cohorts have consulted with hundreds of church plants and have developed a number of resources in helping ministries on the move.
