CEDIA ELECTRONIC LIFESTYLES AWARDS
The entries are in for the 2005 CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles Awards Competition. Designers Choice Award entries are up 70 percent from last year with more than 140 competing in total. The voting will take place at CEDIA EXPO with all registered residential electronic systems contractors voting by touchscreens, which will be located right outside of the main show floor in the Indiana Convention Center. The winners will be announced September 10 during the awards banquet.
Also in are the Manufacturers’ Excellence Awards entries, which will be voted on by a panel of judges during EXPO. Those winners will be announced at the awards banquet as well.

CEDIA BOOT CAMPS IN JULY
The year is going by fast, so don’t miss your opportunity to get the important training that is provided at the Electronic Systems Technician (EST) and Electronic Systems Project Management (ESPM) Boot Camps. July 11 to 12 is one of the last opportunities you’ll have to attend the ESPM Boot Camp and learn vital management skills, including how to face challenges while executing projects in the custom installation industry. An EST Boot Camp will be held July 13 to 15 where electronic technicians can continue to build their installation skills.
