Clarity Visual Systems (www.clarityvisual.com) has opened a new sales office in London and has hired several senior sales personnel in the United States and Europe.

In Europe Clarity has added London-based Hugh Coghill-Smith as European zone sales manager and Sef Neijens as European headquarters account manager in Breda, Netherlands. In the United States, Jim Petrusich has joined Clarity as worldwide sales director, Brian Strayhan as vertical marketing manager for transportation and public venues, and Jeff Smith as zone manager for the U.S. south-central region.

“The new European sales office and sales executives, in addition to the new U.S. sales team members, bring strong relationships and expertise to our digital display markets, and we’re pleased they have joined our team,” says Kris Gorriaran, Clarity vice president of sales and marketing. “We’re confident that we will be able to manage and increase the growth that continues in our U.S. and European markets.”

Petrusich comes to Clarity from Xerox Corp. with experience in sales and managing high-performance sales organizations, as well as experience in general management and solutions sales. He will be responsible for managing the sales group of headquarters, zone, and vertical market managers.

Coghill-Smith will be based in London, where he will work with channel partners to manage Clarity sales in European markets. Coghill-Smith comes to Clarity with experience in technical sales across markets and geographies worldwide from firms such as Anders Electronics plc and Racal Radar Defense Systems. He has knowledge of digital displays technologies and experience with the European market for digital signage and digital media networks.

Smith has more than 20 years of sales experience at companies such as Admiral Communications, NEC Technologies, and Higgenbottom Audio Visual.

Neijens has technical engineering, marketing, and sales experience with several international corporations, including Philips Electronics. He will work out of the Breda, Netherlands, sales office and support both European zone sales managers.

Based in New York, Strayhan has more than nine years experience in sales and account management with Xerox Corp. He has a bachelor of arts degree from Willamette University.
