Philadelphia, PA (March 9, 2020)—Pro A/V distributor Almo Professional A/V has cancelled its E4 Experience Santa Clara, scheduled for March 13 in California. With concerns about Coronavirus increasing worldwide, Almo Pro attributed the decision to cancel the event due to company-mandated travel restrictions placed on E4 Experience exhibitors and educators. At press time, the three other events in the series are still on for later this year.
Melody Craigmyle, vice president of marketing communications for Almo Corporation, noted, “Given that California declared a state of emergency over public health concerns about COVID-19, combined with the fact that many of our exhibitors and educators have travel restrictions, we have made the decision to cancel E4 Experience Santa Clara. The health and safety of our staff, exhibitors, educators and attendees is first and foremost and we feel that this decision is in the best interest of everyone at this time.”
The series of conferences bring together various ProAV and IT manufacturers, organizations such as AVIXA and others to provide training opportunities, educational sessions, industry speakers and other offerings.
Almo Professional still has series events scheduled for Friday, April 3 in Washington, D.C.; Tuesday, September 22 in Dallas, TX; and Thursday, October 22 in Boston, MA. Registration is currently open for the Washington, D.C. event.
