ICIA Is InfoComm — Every Day!

ICIA HAS REPOSITIONED all of its products and services around the high-profile InfoComm shows. ICIA’s newly purchased online product was named InfoComm iQ, and tagged “A Stroke of Genius for Your Business.” ICIA’s courses and seminars were repositioned under the name InfoComm Academy. The certification program is now InfoComm Certified, and another newly launched initiative has become InfoComm Workforce Development. The iQ product includes a fully developed online syndicated news service, renamed InfoComm News & Information Network. Furthermore, the logos of all ICIA exhibitions have been revised using the italicized Info, and the intercap C in Comm.

To alleviate fears that ICIA may be straying from its roots by renaming itself, the association maintains its name as a foundation for all its InfoComm products. Its new logo uses a sine wave to balance “International Communications Industries Association Inc.” against the new InfoComm brand.

The slogan, “ICIA Is InfoComm — Every Day!” serves as a reminder that InfoComm’s three days of show time are now expanded to offer benefits 365 days a year. Scheduled to be launched in December 2001, ICIA’s A/V Web portal will offer expanded online services: news, information, training and access to interactive features never previously available in one place to the A/V community.
