Omneon and Miranda form partnership

Omneon Video Networks and Miranda Technologies announce a partnership todevelop products for use with the Omneon Video Area Network, an integratednetworking and storage platform for distribution and productionapplications in television and new media. The Miranda DV-Bridge is adesktop unit that provides a bi-directional link between DV on IEEE-1394and serial digital video and audio. When connected to Omneon’s Video AreaNetwork, the DV-Bridge operates as a MediaPort, allowing the capture andplayback of digital video and audio to and from other devices on thenetwork.
