Sennheiser Electronic Corp. and TL Audio havemutually agreed to terminate their distribution agreement.
Although the British manufacturer of tube-based signalprocessing and mixing equipment enjoys high brand recognition overseas,Sennheiser and TL Audio executives mutually concluded that the task ofimplementing a full-scale marketing program in the United States at thistime would require a more robust level of sales and distribution supportthan had been anticipated. Therefore, the two companies have agreed to partways.
This decision will enable TL Audio to pursue a distribution partner more inline with its sales goals while allowing Sennheiser to focus onother ongoing initiatives. The decision was based solely on marketing anddistribution issues and was not related in any way to the company’sproducts, cultures, or personnel.
While Sennheiser will continue to take orders on its existing limitedinventory of TL Audio products, customer inquiries should be addresseddirectly to TL Audio until the company names a new U.S.distribution partner.
