Aiphone’s vandal- and weather-resistant substations for open voice intercoms and lamp memory systems are constructed of 12-gauge stainless steel and can be flushmounted into a standard 2-gauge box or electrical box. The speakers on the substations are moisture and puncture resistant and have layers of steel baffle to protect the speaker from tampering. The LE-SS substation used with open voice intercoms has a stainless-steel mechanical call button, and the LE-SSR substation features a red mushroom-type button. The NE-SS substation, used with the lamp memory systems, has a stainless-steel mechanical call button, and the NE-SSR substation features a red mushroom-type button.

Software

Griffid LLC

The DGR104 is designed to offer advanced video compression technology. It has four camera inputs, four alarm inputs, one audio input, a removable hard-disk drive, 2× digital zoom, quick search functions, video loss detection, and more. Multiplexing features include selectable display modes during surveillance and playback, adjustable video quality by channel, and loop back terminal.

Transmitters

International Fiber Systems

The VT1101M-AC models have the capability to use a CCTV camera’s existing 24V power supply to operate. The VT1101M-AC model is typically installed in an outdoors weatherproof enclosure or within a protective fixed camera dome. The VT1101M-AC series is a miniature-designed module and was introduced to fill the need for a camera-mounted fiber-optic transmitter that could take the standard video output and convert it to be transmitted optically over fiber. By using the camera’s existing 24 VAC power source, the installer does not need to factor in another power supply, eliminating a separate 120V line.

Entry Panels

Viscount Systems

The Mesh family of building entry panels comes with full-color keypad or touch-screen displays for entry to commercial or multiresidential buildings. Graphics can be customized per application. The units can be interfaced with a range of RF or proximity access-control products. All traditional telephone entry functions can be performed by a Mesh panel as well as many features not commonly associated with telephone entry.

Software

March Networks

The Software Development Kit (SDK) is a set of software components that enables systems integrators and businesses to integrate DVR controls and functionality into third-party applications. The modular components of the SDK allow developers to integrate video management functionalities such as accessing live video, retrieving recorded video from specific time points, and controlling recording attributes with their existing applications. By integrating real-time and recorded video information with systems such as access control, alarm monitoring, Point-of-Sale, or Automated Teller Machine, security and business processes can be streamlined for improved efficiencies. Additionally, by using the SDK, third-party developers can create customized user interfaces and secure Web browser-based video monitoring applications that allow end-users to control remote video cameras and systems.

Server

Antex Electronics
www.antex.com

The Media Director 2 (MD2) is an Internet-capable audio server developed for commercial and institutional use. Equipped with up to 160 GB of hard-disk storage, the MD2 receives instructions and content from a central server, which can manage an unlimited number of MD2 devices in one or more networks. The MD2 connects to an organization’s WAN/LAN, which enables communication with a server running software applications providing back-end support for content management and distribution. At scheduled times, the MD2 console pulls content from the network server onto the console’s hard drive, along with the associated playlists and instructions.

Lenses

Fujinon

New vari-focal lenses for the security market incorporate the proprietary AT Aspheric Technology developed to improve optical performance while reducing overall size and weight. AT enables one lens element to correct aberrations that would normally require as many as three spherical elements to correct. Designed for day and night operation, the YV5×2.7R4B is the widest-angle (2.7 to 13.5 mm) vari-focal length lens available for this application. Compact size, wide angle (2.8 to 8 mm), and fast f-stop (F0.95) make the YV2.7×2.9LA a solution for use in domes and other applications requiring a compact lens with the brightest f-stop available. The compact wide-range vari-focal YV10×5B lens features a versatile focal range (5 to 50 mm) while featuring a fast F1.3 aperture.
