Sound frequency therapy is becoming more accessibly thanks to Soaak, a healthtech company that has launched a mobile app that looks to improve users’ health and wellness through specific sound frequencies. While I am no means a health expert or doctor, Soaak makes some interesting and promising claims to their new app.
According to Soaak, the app features 30 unique “sound frequency compositions.” For instance, the Excercise Enhancement Sound Frequency claims to support cardiovascular health, increase oxygenation, aerobic capacity, and more. The company says that the science behind the app is based on a combination of studies coming in at over 80,000 clinical hours. Soaak says:
“120 clients were tested extensively over six-month periods. For specific issues, such as fitness, migraines, hormonal imbalances, sleeplessness, anxiety, etc., positive outcomes were seen in 78% of clients, with none experiencing any adverse side effects from the sound frequency therapy treatments.”
Neurophysiological study concludes that ‘Zoom fatigue’ is real
Speaking to the method’s effectiveness, Soaak has locked a major contract with the U.S. Air Force last year. In addition to different sound frequency compositions, the app features a passive mode that allows a listener to isolate the desired frequencies and play them in the background, meaning instead of actively listening to a composition, the user can have the frequency play in the background while they listen to a podcast or audiobook.
Additional sound frequency therapies found within the Soaak app include:
