Around 1,700 LED drones took to Dubai’s skies to celebrate the Lunar New Year. While the drones formed several shapes and colored patterns during the show, the centerpiece was the 1000-foot long dragon that swirled its way across the sky to commemorate the year of the dragon.

The mythological creature changed colors while circling the billion-dollar Burj Al Arab hotel for ten minutes before collapsing into a rotating cube, then shimmering away into the night sky in a truly impressive display.
