WATCH: First look inside the Las Vegas Sphere

Ever since the Las Vegas Sphere lit up for the first time earlier this year, the world has been clamoring to get a glimpse of the venue’s interior, which houses a 160,000 square foot immersive display plane. Last week, Academy Award-nominated director Darren Aronofsky provided the internet with its first sneak peek inside the Sphere. In an Instagram video, Aronofsky previewed the giant immersive display, giving viewers a sense of the venue’s massive scope and scale.

The footage being displayed on the screen is from Aronofsky’s upcoming Postcard from Earth, which will be opening October 6th as the very first Sphere Experience. The Sphere’s much-anticipated opening will take place on September 29, coinciding with the start of U2’s ‘U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere’ residency.
