LG has apparently seen enough success with its StanbyME portable TV line to continue betting on it. The company has now unveiled the StanbyME 2 Max, featuring a larger 4K display in the same design as previous models, meaning it can be wheeled around from room to room.
Like the rest of the StanbyME line, the StanbyME 2 Max’s display is a touchscreen meant for entertainment, this time scaled up to 32 inches with 4K resolution. It retains the same cable-free design to compliment its portability, instead functioning completely on battery power.
Audio is handled via built-in speakers, while LG says its Alpha 8 AI processor optimizes picture and sound quality in real-time. AI upscaling enhances lower-resolution content of the 4K display, with LG claiming improved contrast and color. So far, the StanbyME 2 Max is available only in South Korea, but this was also the case with previous models before they were brought stateside.
