Samsung’s newly-available 55-inch Odyssey Ark monitor features several upgrades over its predecessor, namely the addition of a DisplayPort input. The monitor bolsters its 4K resolution with an AI-powered processor, with Samsung saying, “Ark 2nd Gen offers the same powerful cinematic experience as the first generation Ark, with its AI-powered processor that analyzes images to restore every detail pixel by pixel.”

The massive monitor is designed to replace a multi-monitor setup by leveraging its Multi-View feature to show a split-screen view of multiple inputs. With the new addition of a DisplayPort input, Multi-View will allow simultaneous viewing of up to four inputs (three HDMI, one DisplayPort).

Odyssey Ark 2nd Gen also features an integrated KVM-switch for controlling multiple PCs at the same time. The monitor’s specs are rounded out with a 165Hz refresh rate, four built-in corner speakers, and two woofers, all with Dolby Atmos support.
