Audinate, which created the Dante digital media networking technology, announced the expansion of its U.S. headquarters in Portland, Ore. In addition to serving as its U.S. headquarters, the new facility will house its training and support center, company officials said.
“Our new training center provides our OEM customers a comprehensive support system and is a reflection of the significant growth we’re experiencing,” said Lee Ellison, CEO of Audinate, in a statement. “We are also pleased to announce that Brad Price has been appointed as senior technical solution manager.”
Brad Price comes to Audinate with an extensive background in audio engineering, music performance, and software product development. Working with GenevaLogic and Netop, Price managed the development of networked real-time video software for school classrooms, providing technical communications and direct customer support services.
At Alembic, Price built and designed custom electronics for a variety of rack mounted MI components and provided front-line direct customer support. Working with Phoenix Gold, Price developed crossovers and equalizers for automotive sound, and managed the UL and CE certification process.
“Our expansion is in line with our philosophy for responsive customer support,” said Ellison. “The new technical support center will meet the demand of OEM customers and AV installation contractors for more advanced training.”
