Premier Mounts rolled out the IPM-100 and IPM-200 mounting frames for the Apple iPad this week at InfoComm 2010 in Las Vegas. The frames are designed to securely hold the iPad and complement the device’s aesthetic. The mount fastens to any of the company’s or other table mounts through the frame’s industry-standard Vesa 100-millimeter-by-100-millimeter mounting pattern. The frames provide flexibility and security for a hands-free experience and secure installation, according to the company.

The IPM-100 frame encloses the iPad but leaves the display fully visible and the home button available, well-suited for the hospitality and corporate industries where guest or employees should not adjust power controls or personally connect to the iPad using the dock connector port.

The IPM-200 frame was designed to allow full access to the dock connector port, volume control, rotation lock, and power button by attaching to each corner of the iPad.

Both frames can be attached to any Vesa 100-millimeter-by-100-millimeter mount, says the company, allowing tilt rotation, height, and/or direction adjustments. Enclosed security screws and Lock-It security hardware protect the iPad from theft. Both frames are made with a black power-coat finish.

The iPad frames are scheduled to be available next month.
