Drastic Technologies 4KScope 4K Software
Drastic Technologies has improved its innovative signal analysis and measurement software, 4KScope, with the integration of several new features. 4KScope, the world’s first 4K software waveform, vectorscope, histogram and picture monitor, now features a raw data mode in hex or decimal which presents any area of the image as YCbCr 8, YCbCr 10, RGB 8, or RGBA 10 pixel values, depending on the selected color space of the input. Also 8-bit source detection is now included, when running in 10 bits. Zoom and pan features have been added to the picture view for close examination of specific portions of the video signal. You can now zoom in to the vectorscope and waveform monitor luma views. In addition to the existing AJA Kona 3G and Blackmagic DeckLink/Intensity support, the company has added AJA IO XT, BlueFish444 Epoch, and Blackmagic MiniRecorder/UltraStudio Express support.
Archimedia Technology Archimedia Reference Charts
Archimedia Technology announced Archimedia Reference Charts, a set of advanced test patterns developed by video test and measurement company VideoQ specifically for mastering formats such as JPEG 2000. Designed for use with the Archimedia Reference Player, a software reference player for viewing, testing, and measuring master files on a standard HDMI HDTV, the Archimedia Reference Charts allow users to test, align, configure, troubleshoot, and stress any equipment with an SDI or HDMI input. Such devices include encoders, transmitters, video recorders, monitors, projectors, standards converters, editors, and ingest and capture devices. When combined with partner VideoQ’s VQMA-3 software analyzer and an Archimedia HD-SDI or 4K-SDI card, the Reference Player and Reference Charts offer the industry’s first full-featured test environment that runs on a commodity Windows 7 or 8 PC. Archimedia Reference Charts are 8-, 10-, and 12-bit static and dynamic test patterns in standard-definition, high-definition, 2K, and 4K resolutions. The Reference Charts contain visible audio-sync measurements.
Gefen 4×1 Switcher for HDMI 4K/2K

Pesa Cheetah 4K 16×16 Routing Switcher
Pesa is introducing the new Cheetah 4K 16×16 routing switcher and retrofit UHDTV/4K expansion kits for Cheetah 3 Gbps systems. The new 4K routing switcher provides UHDTV1 video distribution up to 600 meters for 2160p50/60, 10-bit 4:2:2 SDI signals. The retrofit kits provide a simple plug-and-play upgrade solution for current 3G-SDI Cheetah routers. The router is controlled through traditional RS-232/422 or Ethernet connections, and its built-in SNMP MIB simplifies integration to third-party network system management software. Based on realtime multi-link SDI transmission methods, each Cheetah I/O card includes four SC-style fiber CWDM connections carrying up to 12Gbps (4xSDI) for each input or output port. The 4K I/O card is a direct drop-in replacement for the standard 16-channel HD/3G SDI card found in current Cheetah frames.
Kramer Electronics TP-580T and TP-580R Transmitter/Receiver
Kramer Electronicsintroduces the TP-580T and TP-580R transmitter and receiver using HDBaseT LiteT technology to send HDMI with embedded audio, bidirectional RS-232 and IR over distances of up to 230ft.
