Christie unveiled the newest members of its Christie MicroTiles family, the Christie i-Kit touch interactivity kit, powered by Baanto ShadowSense, at InfoComm 2011. The Christie i-Kit, a multitouch interactivity kit suitable for large-format displays, attaches to the perimeter of any display up to 16x6 including Christie MicroTiles, allowing users to interact with a rectangular videowall with sufficient resolution and speed to support finger-based gestures. The i-Kit plugs into USB on any media server and does not require manual calibration of sensors or cameras. The Christie i-Kit supports up to 12 touches on an 8x6 MicroTiles array or 24 touches on a 16x6 array. Price: NA
