Kramer designed this wireless presentation and collaboration device to facilitate hybrid meetings and learning. It supports wireless sharing, and collaborating in real-time, anywhere, from any device. Users can Bring their Own Meeting (BYOM) and connect from any Windows, Mac, Chromebook, Android, or iOS device using built-in VIA apps for mobile and desktop, or app-free over local networks via AirPlay and Miracast- -no need for dongles, cables or shared buttons. An alternative wired connection includes an HDMI input with automatic switching when a new device is connected. The solution is video conferencing platform-agnostic; alternatively, the Teams or Zoom client can be launched through the device directly. Collaboration features include live chat and whiteboard functionality to share any size file and then view, edit, and comment on documents simultaneously. Up to four screens can be shown concurrently on the main display; participants can display or video up to 4K@60Hz from their device, and play YouTube videos in full frame rate. With both built-in Wi−Fi and LAN connectivity, the VIA Connect2 can connect to internal infrastructure with its 1024−bit encryption and the device’s built-in WiFi can also be utilized for secure meetings away from the internal network, ideal for any external participants.
