Mersive’s Solstice wirelessly connects an unlimited number of laptops and mobile devices to any display (projector, flatpanel, or videowall). Solstice display software runs on a standard Windows computer and uses the existing corporate or university network. It is compatible with laptops and mobile devices running Windows, Android, OSX, or iOS. There is no special hardware to purchase, and there are no special network requirements. Solstice uses standard TCP/IP protocols to transport pixels to the screen. Documents, applications, images, and videos can all be shared via Solstice. Other key features of Solstice include integration with existing in-room AV control systems like Crestron, Extron, and AMX; runs in parallel with WebEx, Lync, GoToMeeting, etc.; incorporates external video sources such as Apple TV or VTC systems; an integrated centralized IT dashboard to configure, manage, and monitor displays throughout the enterprise; and can easily set up display discovery across the existing corporate network.
