The MS750 is the second music server from McIntosh Laboratory. Built around a 750GB internal hard drive, the MS750 triples the capacity of the McIntosh MS300 server. Integrated web interface functions enable users to easily store, catalog, and access more than 2,000 hours of CD-quality music. From the user interface, consumers can create and recall playlists and create on-the-fly additions to playlists already in use. The server packs a CD ripper and MP3 encoder which support multiple data rates including Free Lossless Audio Compression (FLAC). Users can burn custom CDs from the hard drive catalog. The CD drive plays standard CDs and those with MP2, WMA, and ACC files. Files can be streamed over a home network via Ethernet-enabled devices. Serial port and TCP/IP interfaces provide additional control options for installers.
