ABS SUPPORTS NFFTY 2012 AS EXHIBITOR, PARTNER SPONSOR

firm ABS (Advanced Broadcast Solutions) is a Partner Sponsor for NFFTY 2012, one of the largest youth film festivals in the world, which will be held April 26-29 in Seattle. ABS will also be an exhibitor at the Future of Film Expo, a new addition to the festival that runs April 27-28 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall.

Presented by NFFTY and The Next Fifty, a six-month celebration of the 1962 World’s Fair, the free expo will host a number of panels, workshops, demonstrations, and networking opportunities. It is expected to attract local film production crew, film industry executives, youth filmmakers, and film fans. Beyond ABS, other exhibitors include film commissions, film schools, and equipment companies including AJA Video, Canon, ikan, and Panasonic.

Short for the National Film Festival for Talented Youth, NFFTY is now in its sixth year and received nearly 700 entries for this year’s festival. According to officials, films were submitted by filmmakers 22 years old and under from 40 states and 22 countries. More than 10,000 people are expected to attend.
