Cresskill, NJ – August 28, 2025 – At CEDIA Expo Bond (#C1120) has many firsts to share with attendees. The brand will show its Mate Pro universal remote control for pergolas, awnings, shades and screens, and also demonstrate its Bond Bridge Pro’s abilities to now control all types of shade motors through Modern Atomics. BTX Intelligent Fashion and Infratech will show native integration of Smart by Bond technology into their wares, and Bond will host Tech / Q&A sessions at Draper at Home, BTX, Sol-Lux, Modern Atomics, and Screen Innovations exhibits.
A main attraction at the Bond exhibit will be Mate Pro. An industry-first, Mate Pro is a 15-channel universal hand-held remote control for multiple motorized pergola, awning, shutter, and screen brands.
Mate Pro brings individual, multi-group, and scheduled control, and personalized names to each of the channels with the use of the Bond Home app over Bluetooth.
The remote is smart, aware of time, able to set adaptive schedules and is water-resistant. Mate Pro is a 2025 CEDIA Best New Hardware Product Finalist. Shipping in September, MSRP is set at $289.
Modern Atomics (also #C1120) will be demonstrating its expanding range of Ai-enhanced power distribution units (PDUs) driving 485, PoE, Zigbee, Matter, and SubGHz shade motors – all smartly controlled by Bond. “Bond’s ability to now control wired shade motors through Modern Atomics POE PDUs represents further progression of the Bond RF-to-WiFi platform,” says Bond CEO Zohar Shinar.
“With window treatments, you used to have to make a specific choice as to what motor you went with,” says Modern Atomics CTO Michael Braithwaite. “Today, thanks to technological advances from Modern Atomics and Bond, you can use any motor you wish, no programming needed, no software needed, all you need is Modern Atomics and the Bond Bridge Pro for power and control.”
Also making big industry news is BTX Intelligent Fashion’s (#4404) native integration of Smart by Bond RF-control technology across the brand’s shade and drapery motors. BTX is the first motor brand to adopt Bond’s control platform, integrating the Bond software into their motors, signifying a milestone for both Bond and BTX. For CI’s this brings streamlined deployment and integration with automation systems, Over-the-Air updates, reduced service calls, and BTX post-sale support. And for end-users: seamless and intuitive control experiences, 4x longer RF range (up to 3,000+ sq. ft. coverage), robust scene customization, enhanced security, and improved energy efficiency.

Outdoor heater brand Infratech (#723) will be showing their new Smart Wall Switch and Smart Wall Dimmer Switch which incorporate Smart by Bond with built-in WiFi technology, bringing smart control to the brand’s outdoor heating systems. Via the Bond Home App users can easily turn the heaters on-and-off and adjust heat level – and an incorporated automatic timer brings energy and safety benefits. This native integration with Infratech adds heaters to the Bond platform’s growing list of controllable outdoor devices. Chowmain Software’s Control4 Bond driver enables the bi-directional control and feedback. The switches also integrate with virtual assistant applications.

About Bond
Bond is from Olibra, LLC, a privately-owned NJ tech company established in 2016 with a focus of making motorized window coverings, ceiling fans, and gas fireplaces simpler and more delightful to use. The Bond Bridge RF-to-WiFi platform was launched in 2018 with the Bond Bridge. This brought intuitive smartphone control to these appliances. In 2021 came the Bond Bridge Pro for CEDIA installers, bringing expanded capabilities and integration with leading home automation and virtual assistance platforms, with 2023 bringing the Sidekick for Shades battery-powered wireless wall-mount keypad.
In 2024 Bond began bringing the simplicity and lifestyle that it brought to indoor living to outdoor living with innovative solutions such as the industry-first Breeze Pro infrasonic smart wind/rain/sunlight sensor, Firefly One Outdoor LED Lighting Dimmer Controller, and partnerships with pergola and awning brands. Now in 2025, Bond has brought to market its Mate Pro hand-held universal smart remote-control for pergolas, awnings, shutters, shades and screens.
