“Projection Screen Paint applications fulfill a vital role in creating screens that can be formatted outside of the proverbial box.” said Dave Rodgers, Marketing Manager of Elite Screens. “The new water-based paints are hazmat-free and ideal for DIY spray on applications. With either a matte white or higher-gain, Ambient Light Rejecting option available, there is versatility in performance as well as its ability to be applied to either a flat, curved or domed surface.”

ChromaFlux2D/3D Water-Based Projection Screen Paint by Elite Screens is a reliable; easy to apply spray-on solution that can be used on virtually any surface.Whether on a wall, ceiling, floor or even a dome screen application, the ChromaFlux water-based paint will transform ordinary surfaces into extraordinary projection screens. Choose from a standard matte white paint with wide diffusion uniformity and neutral color temperature or a 5-D Ambient Light Rejecting paint with superb brightness, outstanding picture contrast and even 3D polarization.

Screen paints bypass the size and shape constraints that are present when working with traditional screens. They create a seamless surface with limitless expansion properties. In regards to affordability, a single application kit will cover a space equivalent to a 140” diagonal measurement in a16:9, HDTV aspect ratio with up to 4K resolution projectors.

The 2DW (matte white) base compound is 1.1 gain with wide diffusion uniformity and is ideal for most presentations with control over environmental lighting. For places with little control over ambient light, the 5D (2D enhanced brightness or 3D) reflective base compound has a brightness of 1.5gain.  This can enhance the desired brightness levels while rejecting ambient light. It also compensates for decreased brightness encountered during active and passive 3D presentations while retaining 99% of the image polarization. Regardless of it being for either a residential or business application, ChromaFlux unlocks the doors of imagination in each projection environment
