Crestron Introduces 80 Series Touch Screens, the Next Generation of Intelligent Interfaces for Modern Workspaces and Beyond

New family of room scheduling and control touch screens delivers a consistent user experience, enterprise-grade security, and simplified management across every workspace.

Rockleigh, NJ – January 20, 2026 Crestron Electronics, a global leader in workplace collaboration and control solutions, today announced the 80 Series Touch Screens, the next generation of intelligent user interfaces designed to bring intuitive, consistent control to every space across commercial environments. Purpose-built for room scheduling, in-room control, and unified communications, the 80 Series delivers sophisticated simplicity for end users while giving IT teams the reliability, security, and management capabilities they require.

Built on Crestron’s proven touch screen platform and the Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP), the 80 Series introduces enhanced processing performance, refined industrial design, and enterprise-grade security, making it ideal for applications in corporate offices, universities, government, and other demanding environments.

“Organizations are rethinking every space — from conference rooms and classrooms to open collaboration areas and huddle zones — and they need interfaces that adapt to each workflow while remaining easy to deploy and manage at scale,” said Joel Mulpeter, senior director of product marketing at Crestron. “The 80 Series brings all of that together: a common platform for scheduling, control, and collaboration with the enterprise-grade security and manageability IT trusts, and the simple, consistent user experience people expect.”

Three Purpose-Built Form Factors for Any Space

The 80 Series portfolio is built around three distinct variations, so organizations can deliver the right interface for every space: room scheduling panels with built-in light bars, wall mount control touch screens, and tabletop control touch screens. From compact 8-inch panels outside small rooms to 10-inch in-room control interfaces in boardrooms, the 80 Series provides a consistent look and feel across the enterprise while allowing the interface to be tailored to each room’s workflow.

Scheduling panels provide at-a-glance room status with a unified industrial design and integrate with a growing number of support services, including Microsoft Teams®, Outlook®, Zoom Rooms®, SpaceTi, Joan, and over 50 more. Wall mount and tabletop touch screens deliver comprehensive room control and UC integration, including support for modern collaboration platforms, making it easy for users to start meetings, adjust environmental settings, and interact with in-room technology.

“The 80 Series allows consultants, dealers, and integrators to standardize on a single family of touch screens that can be deployed everywhere, from the smallest focus room to the largest lecture hall, without compromising on design or capabilities,” said Mulpeter. “It simplifies design and deployment for our partners and delivers a familiar, intuitive experience for users no matter where they are on campus or across the enterprise.”

Built on a Proven, Secure Foundation

The 80 Series Touch Screens build on Crestron’s established interface platform that has been trusted for years in mission-critical applications. The new generation introduces cutting-edge processors for fast response times and high-resolution displays, ensuring smooth navigation and crystal-clear graphics in every interaction.

Enterprise-grade security is foundational to the 80 Series. The devices support 802.1X authentication, TLS encryption, and Microsoft Active Directory® credential management integration, and are built on MDEP for a security posture trusted by organizations globally. This gives IT teams the assurance they need when deploying touch screens across sensitive networks, including government, financial services, and higher-education environments.

Power over Ethernet (PoE) simplifies installation with single-cable connectivity, eliminating the need for local power supplies and enabling clean, flexible placement on walls, glass, mullions, and tabletops. An expanded accessory ecosystem supports a wide range of mounting options for both new builds and retrofits.

Designed for IT Management at Scale

The 80 Series is tightly integrated with Crestron’s XiO Cloud® platform, enabling remote provisioning, monitoring, and management of touch screens across global deployments. IT teams can configure devices, push updates, monitor health, and troubleshoot issues from a central dashboard, reducing truck rolls and minimizing downtime.

For enterprises standardizing on hybrid work and flexible learning environments, the combination of secure, scalable hardware and powerful cloud management ensures that every touchscreen remains consistent, up to date, and ready to support evolving workplace strategies.

Availability

The Crestron 80 Series Touch Screens for commercial environments are expected to be available globally beginning Q2 2026 through Crestron’s authorized dealers, integrators, and distribution partners.
