GefenTV Wireless HD Extender 60Ghz
This next generation extender passes through uncompressed 3DTV 1080p HDMI video up to 33-feet (10m) in distance. Because it has MHL compatibility, it can support the connection of any mobile device that supports HDMI and will conveniently charge the device while it is connected. This new model is easy to install, providing a plug and play setup that anyone with even a little technology savvy should be able to handle.
GefenTV High Resolution USB to Audio Decoder
Output high fidelity audio from the USB port on any computer, tablet or laptop with the new USB to Audio Decoder. Audio is decoded and scaled at a 192k sampling rate, ideal for anyone who wants high quality sound without the static and noise that you typically hear when decoding different audio formats. The Decoder also includes a digital interpolation filter and digital to analog (DAC) converter to enhance its performance.
GefenPRO Matrix Switchers for HDMI w/HDCP
The GefenPRO 16×16 and the 32×32 Modular Matrixes for HDMI w/HDCP offer cross-point routing of one or more sources to one or all connected displays with HDCP compliance. Both include Gefen’s FST (Fast Switching Technology) to significantly improve the HDCP authentication process and minimize latency. The modular nature allows a customization of to include eight HDMI outputs or eight ELR (Extra Long Range) outputs that use HDBaseT to deliver HDMI with IR up to 330 feet (100m) using a single CAT-5 cable per display.
GAVA (Gefen A/V Automation) 3.0
Additional new features include Sonos integration, so integrators will be able to add audio zones by adding a wireless Sonos “Zone Player” wherever needed. New “Event Engine” and expanded Macro capability allows more customization and automation. Integrators can add an “event trigger” to use a Lutron keypad, switch or dimmer to run an A/V macro, and create two-way integration between lighting and A/V systems. IP camera and thermostat integration will also be shown for the first time. Integration with BlueBolt Power Management devices means GAVA can reduce idle system power consumption to only a few watts, rather than hundreds of watts consumed by traditional integrated systems in standby mode. GAVA now supports Lutron’s GRAFIK Eye QS with the QSE Interface, as well as HomeWorks QS and RadioRA2 systems. GAVA can also be used to bridge Lutron and KNX lighting systems, for greater flexibility in mixed environments.
Ultra HD 4k Systems
A selection of Ultra HD splitters, switchers and matrix switchers offer support for resolutions up to 4k and can be easily integrated into a system supporting both 1080p and 3840p resolutions. Gefen ToolBox Splitters are ideal for sending one 4k source to two, four or eight displays at the same time. HDCP compliance, 3DTV pass-through and Gefen Fast Switching Technology (FST) are included to stabilize the signal distribution. The 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 Splitters for HDMI 4k/2k are all enclosed in a wall mountable frame that can be mounted near the source or behind the connected displays. The Gefen ToolBox 4×1 Switcher for HDMI 4k/2k allows four sources to be connected to the same 4k display with source selection controlled by IR remote, IP connectivity, RS-232 or front panel selection. The Gefen ToolBox 6×2 Matrix Switcher for HDMI 4k/2k connects up to six sources to two independent 4k displays with full cross-point routing. The Gefen ToolBox 4×4 Matrix Switcher for HDMI 4k/2k connects four sources to four 4k displays with full cross-point routing.
ePACS (Extended Professional Automation Control System) and Mini-ePACS
These IP bridge devices enable A/V and other components using RS-232 and IR to be controlled by and to communicate with GAVA or other automation systems using IP control. The new models now feature sense inputs to allow external control from switches or contacts, and IR inputs which will allow control from IR remote controls. Each uses a web-based, user-friendly configuration interface. The ePACS is equipped with 10 IR inputs, 10 IR outputs, 6 RS-232 serial ports, 10 sense inputs, 10 relay outputs and a 12v DC output. The Mini-ePACS is equipped with 2 IR inputs, 3 IR outputs, 2 RS-232 serial ports, 4 sense inputs and 2 relay outputs.
