Gran Cine Festival Celebrates The National Hispanic Heritage Month

Gran Cine Network presents the dates and titles for the 7th annual Festival de Gran Cine (Gran Cine Festival), a week-long celebration of Spanish-language cinema and Hispanic culture as part of its efforts to observe every year the National Hispanic Heritage Month.

Started in 1968 by Congress as Hispanic Heritage Week, it was expanded to a month in 1988, from September 15th to October 15th each year to celebrates U.S. Latinos, their culture and their history.
