Hitachi Europe Appoints Stampede Europe as a UK Distributor of its Full Range of Projectors and Large Format Displays

AMHERST, NEW YORK — After years of forging a successful distribution partnership in North America, Hitachi Europe has appointed Stampede Europe to serve as a distributor of its full range of ProAV display products in the UK. Effective immediately, the new agreement includes Hitachi Europe’s line of interactive large format display panels and its range of 2,500 through to 13,000 ANSI Lumens projectors.

“We are honored to carry our successful distribution partnership with Hitachi over to our European headquarters,” Stampede President & COO Kevin Kelly said. “Hitachi Europe’s premier line of projectors and large format flat panel displays will significantly enhance our portfolio and provide our UK integrators and resellers with access to top-of-the-line display technology for customers in every one of their vertical markets.”

Stampede Europe will distribute Hitachi Europe’s full range of 2,500 through to 13,000 ANSI Lumens projectors, which includes the brand’s best-selling short-throw and ultra-short-throw education models, the popular 5000 series, the high-brightness installation models with multiple lens options, and the unique 3,500 lumen LED projector using the new High Lumen Density technology. Additionally, Stampede will serve as the exclusive distributor of Hitachi Europe’s new 65”, 75” and 84” interactive flat panels that are ideal for educational markets and corporate meeting rooms alike.

“The Stampede-Hitachi partnership has delivered excellent results in the U.S., and we know that it will be just as successful overseas,” Kelly commented. “Hitachi offers a great range of projectors across all applications, and I don’t think that many U.K-based dealers are aware of the full portfolio we offer. We intend to change that. We’re especially excited to debut the brand’s innovative new HLD projector technology to market— which is, no doubt — one of the most significant developments in projection technology in recent years.”

According to Ioan Williams, Hitachi Europe’s B2B Sales Manager – UK & Ireland  –  Digital Media Group, “With a successful relationship already well established in the states, we’re confident that Stampede Europe can replicate that success and that they are the right partner to take our display products to the next level in the U.K,” he said. “With excellent support services and a value add distribution model that brings profits for its customers, Stampede Europe is exactly what Hitachi requires in a distribution partner.”
