KMH Integration Expands Full-Service Capabilities with Addition of Keith Hanadel

KMH Integration is expanding its ability to serve media, broadcast, and IT organizations by adding Keith Hanadel, an accomplished architectural designer with decades of industry experience, to its team. The addition of in-house architectural and design team management resources to KMH’s total project management platform reinforces the company’s position as the only system integrator with the planning, technology, design, engineering, and execution expertise needed to bring projects of any scope from “concept to completion.”

Hanadel joins KMH at a time of surging company growth and widespread change in the broadcast and media industries. Organizations are adopting new IP and virtualized workflows, and even non-media companies are accelerating their development of in-house content.

These evolutionary market shifts require a new framework for system integration, which KMH has spearheaded for years, most recently providing specialized engineering expertise for customers to blend AV and broadcast through its AV Casting™ approach. The addition of Hanadel enables a fully integrated project delivery model, combining the company’s expertise in directing and coordinating with MEP, engineering, fabrication, acoustics, set and lighting design, content creation, and now architecture – all under one roof.

“Our customers are working differently, and bringing Keith onboard is a perfect example of how we’re continually adapting to meet changing expectations,” said Kevin Henneman, president of KMH Integration. “Engaging us early as a single-source partner streamlines collaboration and ultimately improves project outcomes. More important, it reduces the costs and risks that come with piecing together project teams made up of 3rd-party consultants who don’t communicate with each other and aren’t familiar with every aspect of a project’s scope.”

Henneman noted that KMH has applied this full-service “design/build” approach for customers across markets, successfully bringing projects from concept to completion for the New York Post, Wall Street Journal, JPMorgan Chase and many others.

The Right Fit at the Right Time

At KMH Integration, Hanadel will draw on his 30-plus years of experience planning and designing facilities for media and broadcast organizations worldwide, including CBS, Disney, Univision, NBCUniversal, MLB Network, YouTube, PGA Tour, and Netflix.

Prior to joining KMH, he was Northeast Region Practice Lead for Media at Gensler. His career also includes 23 years at HLW International, leading the firm’s national Media and Entertainment practice.

His experience in managing infrastructure upgrades; coordinating with MEP, engineers and construction firms; and managing multi-discipline design teams perfectly matches KMH Integration’s vision for unifying all project components into a single, focused, and collaborative team effort.

“This integrated project delivery model,” he said, “eliminates any possible opportunities for communication to break down, and provides a single point of responsibility with clear lines of accountability. We’re replacing traditional project complexities with faster timelines and even faster decision-making. We can now come to the table with a customer and say, ‘Here’s our goal, here’s our schedule, here’s our budget. Let’s go.’”
