Da-Lite Parallax ALR Screens
Da-Lite’s latest screen surface technology, Parallax Stratos, is a high value ALR option that rejects up to 80% of ambient light with a 1.0 gain for standard throw projectors (1.0:1 or greater). This new surface is available in tensioned electric and fixed frame screens to accommodate large-scale installations. Seamless ALR screens can now be ordered up to 16 feet high with Parallax Stratos 1.0. The Parallax Pure line of True Optical ALR surfaces is available in gains of 0.8 and 2.3 for standard throw projectors and UST 0.45 for ultra-short throw projectors. They reject up to 96% of ambient light, providing flat panel quality images up to 120″ diagonal but without the glare and reflection of flat panels.

Luxul Epic Mesh, Now Available
Providing integrators with flexible installation and placement, Luxul’s Epic Mesh MK-10 comes with two tri-band dual-purpose mesh nodes that can each serve as either a router or satellite, and require no wired link between them. Simple to install, integrators turn one of the two nodes into a router using the Luxul Easy Setup App. The other node becomes the satellite, which is plugged into any available outlet to create a powerful wireless mesh. A 4×4 5-GHz dedicated backhaul channel ensures strong connectivity back to the router for the delivery of fast internet to IoT devices located anywhere in the home.

Luxul ProWatch Cloud Management Solution, Now Available
ProWatch allows integrators access to their customers’ Luxul networks via an intuitive web interface, or the ProWatch app for mobile devices or a web console. Site-level indicators provide the online/offline status of connected devices and the availability of firmware updates, while alerts notify integrators of issues via push notifications, text, or email. Using ProWatch, integrators can configure devices remotely; perform firmware updates on select Luxul routers, wireless APs, and controllers; and remotely power-cycle PDUs and PoE switches. Setting up ProWatch is as simple as installing a Luxul router on the network. The ProWatch app automatically discovers the router and configures all connected IP devices — even third-party products.

Luxul Unmanaged PoE+ Switch Family
Available at the beginning of October, the SW-100-04P and SW-100-08P Gigabit PoE+ switches feature compact designs that allow them to be installed in a wide range of locations, including behind displays or inside media cabinets. In addition to a dedicated uplink port for connection to a router or upstream switch, the SW-100-04P features four PoE+ Gigabit ports with a total power budget of 58 Watts, while the SW-100-08P provides eight ports with a total power budget of 92 Watts. Available at the same time, the five-port SW-100-05PD is a PoE+ powered Gigabit switch with PoE pass-through. Without the need for a power supply, the device can be installed virtually anywhere. The SW-100-05PD features a dedicated PoE+ input port, a pass-through Gigabit PoE port capable of powering a PoE/802.11af device up to 15 Watt, four additional non-PoE Gigabit ports, and multiple mounting options.
