Listen Technologies Receives 2014 InfoComm Best Of Show Award from Sound & Video Contractor, AV Technology and Pro Sound News Magazines

BLUFFDALE, UT, June 30, 2014 — Listen Technologies Corporation, a leading designer, manufacturer, and distributor of assistive listening products, is proud to announce that it has received a 2014 InfoComm Best Of Show Award for its iDSP (Intelligent Digital Signal Processing) products from New Bay Media publications Sound & Video Contractor, AV Technology and Pro Sound News. The announcement was made on Friday, June 20, the final day of InfoComm 2014.

With thousands of new product introductions at InfoComm 2014, more than 37,000 attendees, 218 new exhibitors and nearly 200 award nominations, NewBay Media’s “Best Of Show” program helps separate the good from the great. AV Technology’s awards specifically recognize technological innovation that benefits tech managers and end users. The “Best of Show” Awards are judged by an anonymous panel of six AV/IT technology managers, AV systems integrators, and industry experts from submitted nominations. Awards criteria include ease of installation, ease of maintenance, anticipated reliable performance, richness of the feature set, relevance in the marketplace, value proposition/ROI, network friendliness, and versatility.

“To be recognized by such an esteemed group of industry experts and peers is the highest compliment one can receive,” stated Russ Gentner, Listen CEO. “InfoComm 2014 was a great show for Listen Technologies and the addition of this award is the icing on the cake.”

“We congratulate Listen Technologies on this award. We are impressed with not only the integrity of their mission but the scope and diversity of their sound solutions,” said Margot Douaihy, editor of AV Technology, EDUwire, & Tech Manager Today. “Our Best in Show judges voted in favor of the Listen Technologies iDSP RF receiver for myriad reasons: its focus on the fine details and nuances that make a great user experience; quality performance; and a surprisingly compact form-factor. Even inventory management and battery management — pain points for most tech managers & venue managers — were considered in the iDSP RF’s final design.”
