MantelMount’s MM815 Combines Motorized Ease, Affordability

Drop Down & Swivel TV Mount Is Company’s First Consumer-Based, Motorized Product

MantelMount MM815

MantelMount, the premier, award-winning mounting option for flatscreen televisions, is offering its MM815 Motorized Drop Down & Swivel TV Mount. The company’s first consumer-based, motorized TV mount, the MM815 is ideal for high-on-the-wall installations, including over a fireplace.

The MM815 incorporates all the patented features and full-range motion that have been staples of the company’s manual mounts, including tilt and swivel. The addition of motorized control through the RF remote brings a new level of convenience to the TV viewing experience.

The Perfect Viewing Height

The MantelMount MM815 allows consumers to bring their large, flatscreen TV down off the wall to eye level and swivel it left or right. Eye-level viewing not only maximizes comfort – eliminating the painful neck-craning when watching TVs that are mounted too high – but also ensures optimal picture quality and resolution. It’s perfect for consumers who want a home theater experience in any room.

The MM815 offers a range of attractive features, including:

  • Automatic Drop & Swivel: Patented, proprietary software and precision electronic actuators lower and swivel the TV quickly and automatically. This is accomplished through the use of two memory presets on the RF remote control.
  • Silent Operation: The custom electronic actuators generate smooth, barely audible movement.
  • Soft & Hard Travel Stops: Vertical and horizontal travel limits provide a virtual safety shield, preventing the TV from contacting the wall or mantel.
  • Recessible Housing: With the optional RB100 accessory, the MM815 can be recessed for 1.75” flush-to-wall installations, concealing the lifting arm and electronics in the raised position.
  • RF Remote Control: No need to point at a receiver with the included RF remote.
  • Temperature Sensor: The height-adjustable heat sensor turns red at temperatures above 110° F to warn users if the fireplace becomes too hot for the safety of the electronics.
  • Patented Centering Cams: These automatically swivel the TV to center while raising to avoid permanent obstacles.
  • Tilt Adjust: Viewers can fine-tune the tilt to keep the perfect angle.
  • Paintable Wall Covers: Consumers can easily match their wall color.

The Motor Makes the Difference

“Our MM815 has already proven to be an extremely popular product since its recent introduction,” said Spencer Greenwald, Chief Revenue Officer of MantelMount. “Consumers have appreciated our manual mounts for years. With the MM815, we now offer a mount with the same great features, combined with motorized operation. The MM815 is a big step in our effort to continue optimizing the TV viewing experience.”

The MM815 is the company’s second motorized mount, following the MM860, now in its second version. The MM860 is sold exclusively through authorized MantelMount dealers.

List price of the MM815 is $999.95, though it is currently selling for $300 off at $699.95. The MM815 is available for sale on the company’s website.
