Meyer Sound at InfoComm China 2014: LYON, CAL with AVB, Audio Education and More

At InfoComm China 2014 in Beijing, visit the Meyer Sound Booth CF5-02 to meet LYONâ„¢, the latest addition to the Meyer Sound LEOâ„¢ Family of linear sound reinforcement systems as heard at the highest-profile shows worldwide, including the Michael Buble tour, the Nobel Peace Prize Concert, and more. In addition, the InfoComm education programs will feature two sessions from Meyer Sound focusing on room acoustics and AVB audio video bridging networks.

Bringing the sonic performance of the LEO system to a more flexible and compact package, LYON is designed for applications where LEO’s extreme long throw is not required. Ideal applications for LYON include arena and large auditorium installations, as well as tours and festivals. LYON linear loudspeakers are available in two versions: the LYON-M main line array loudspeaker and the LYON-W wide-coverage line array loudspeaker. Complemented by the 1100-LFC low-frequency control element and the GalileoA® Callistoâ„¢ loudspeaker management system, LYON-M can anchor a powerful system for installations, as well as tours and festivals. LYON-W can serve as down fill to augment a LYON system.

Also making its InfoComm China debut is the MJF-210, the lightest self-powered stage monitor in the Meyer Sound product line. Only 353 mm (13.9 inches) high and weighing just 30.4 kg (67 lbs), the MJF-210 reproduces vocals and instruments with extraordinary accuracy while offering all of the logistical benefits of self-powered systems.

A live technical demonstration will showcase the power of Audio Video Bridging (AVB) interoperability. It will feature a Meyer Sound steerable CALâ„¢ column array loudspeaker and anA AVnu-certified
