The Proximity Series Sliding Mounting Plate addresses the growing complexities in residential and commercial applications that stem from ongoing decentralization of systems often located at the display. The editors of Installation Magazine, which covers permanent audio, video, and lighting systems integration within the global market, judged the awards on the show floor.

The new plate from Middle Atlantic is designed to ensure integrators can quickly and easily install and maintain their customers’ systems. Integrators just slide the plate out from behind the display, unhook it from the sliding mechanism, and mount small devices onto the 15-inch by 10-inch mounting space. Adding to the convenience, the plate design allows integrators to service the system without having to remove the display or without being impeded by a small working space. This saves time on the job and eliminates the requirement for additional team members who would be required to safely remove and reinstall the display.
