Wayne, N.J. –

FUJIFILM North America Corporation

, Optical Devices Division, is conducting a Zero Percent Financing program on purchases of its

Premier PL ZK Series of Cabrio

lenses. Beginning today through March 31st, 2014, any new purchases of a Premier PL19-90mm Cabrio (ZK4.7A—19), PL 85-300mm Cabrio (ZK3.5x85B) or PL 14-35mm Cabrio wide-angle zoom (ZK2.5A—14) are eligible for the company’s Zero Percent Financing for 24-month program. The program is currently open to U.S. and Canadian customers only.

“We’re starting this program as a service to our customers,” said Thom Calabro, Director, Marketing and Product Development, FUJIFILM North America Corporation,

wide-angle lens

Optical Devices Division. “A financing program like this makes it easier for more of our customers to own a Cabrio and opens up a larger potential user base among rental houses, DPs, production companies, and all kinds of cine

and video professionals looking to own the most versatile, highest quality, and lightest zooms in industry.”

FUJINON’s PL 14-35mm lens is the latest development in the company’s popular Cabrio series, which includes the recently introduced Premier PL 85-300 mm, as well as the established PL 19-90. Introduced at IBC in mid-September last year, the 14-35mm Cabrio is lightweight, easy to use with today’s 4K cameras, and is a fast T2.9 with 200-degree focus rotation. It’s ideal for shooters looking for a lightweight zoom that can be used as a handheld. It has a detachable digital servo drive and can be used as a self-contained ENG-style lens or as a cine style lens.

The PL 14-35 lens offers exceptional optical performance in the center of the image and in the corners of the frame. The digital servo’s 16-bit encoding assures operators that all lens meta data output—including the position of the zoom, iris, and focus—is extremely accurate. The PL 14-35 lens supports Lens Data System (LDS) and /i metadata formats, All Cabrio lenses can be controlled using cinema industry standard accessories, wireless controllers, as well as existing FUJINON wired and wireless units.

The high-performance FUJINON PL 85-300 Cabrio zoom lens was designed using the latest optical simulation technology, offering exceptional optical performance in both the center of the image and in the corners of the frame. The PL 85-300’s longer lens makes it ideal for professional cinematographers and videographers. The PL 85-300 is similar in weight and size to the other Cabrio lenses, and starts at a fast T2.9

The lightweight and compact PL 19-90 Cabrio weighs only 2.85kg including servo motors, this lens has the longest focal range available in a light weight zoom . Cinematographers will be right at home with these lenses. With the detachable drive removed, the lens is set to accept industry standard cine motors and matte boxes. Plus, the lens has all the data output that appeals to a Cine-style shooter.

To take advantage of this new Zero Percent Financing option on FUJINON Cabrios, customers can contact their local FUJIFILM Optical Devices Division sales representative.
