PhaseTech Unveils Variable Length Soundbar (VLS) at ISE 2024

US-built VLS incredibly easy to install and is custom-made to fit width and color of TV

Lenexa, Kan. –– Jan. 25, 2024 — PhaseTech, renowned for its innovative audio engineering for nearly 70 years, is proud to announce the official launch of its custom-length and color Variable Length Sound bars (VLS) – VLS70-LCR for TVs 60” to 70”, and VLS100-LCR for TVs 75” to 100”. These made-to-order 3-channel acoustically superb sound bars are specially crafted to serve as left, center, and right speakers using three separate speakers in a complete surround system while aesthetically matching the video display width and color. Both the speaker and matching grille are customized to the specific television model provided by the ordering integrator. The VLS sound bar easily mounts to a TV bracket or directly to the wall.

VLS full image no grilleThe VLS70-LCR and VLS100-LCR are now available globally and made to order based on the TV size and brand, typically shipping within a few days of ordering. They are seamlessly designed to blend with your TV screen while delivering exceptional audio quality. For an optimal sound experience, PhaseTech recommends pairing them with the P3-35 3-Channel Dolby Digital Amplifier.

Key features of these innovative soundbars include a .75-inch (19.1 mm) silk/synthetic soft dome tweeter, two 3-inch (76.2 mm) ultra-long throw polypropylene woofers with butyl rubber surrounds, and two 3-inch (762 mm) ultra-long throw polypropylene bass radiators with butyl rubber surrounds. Absolute Phase® Crossover networks ensure precise synchronization of speaker drivers. Additionally, the VLS boasts a sleek design with a depth of only 2.875” (73.0 mm).

These soundbars feature a nominal impedance of 8Ω, sensitivity of 90 dB @ 2.83V/1M, and a frequency response ranging from 65 Hz to 20 kHz. They are recommended to be powered within the range of 15 – 100 Watts. The enclosures are made of black extruded aluminum and feature a passive radiator design. Inputs are via Euroblock connector, and they come with cloth grilles. Color options include black, with custom colors available.

The dimensions of these soundbars are 6.75” (171.5 mm) H x 54-94” (1372-2388 mm) W x 2.88” (73.0 mm) D. The width varies between 54” to 66” for the VLS70-LCR and 67” to 94” for the VLS100-LCR. The VSL70-LCR weighs 22 lbs (9.97 Kg) and the VSL100-LCR weighs in at 24 lbs (10.88 Kg). Included accessories comprise a wall mount for easy installation, which involves mounting the bar to the wall, sliding cabinets on, and then attaching the grille.

These soundbars find applications in various settings, including 3-channel home theater setups, living rooms, home offices, and conference rooms.

The VLS70-LCR and VLS100-LCR come with a limited ten (10) year warranty, ensuring long-term enjoyment of the audio investment.
