Los Angeles—Rise Hollywood, an upscale apartment community in the heart of Hollywood, complemented its unique architecture with a trapezoidal digital art canvas from SNA Displays. The distinctive video screen, built with EMPIRE™ Exterior LED video display technology, is located outside the complex’s parking garage.
Rise Hollywood also commissioned motion graphics and animation studio leftchannel to create artistic content for the digital display.
“It’s always great working with a partner like SNA Displays who can think outside the traditional 16:9 box,” said Candy Stoer, managing director at leftchannel. “We enjoyed leveraging the trapezoidal digital canvas to create an art piece that accentuates the elevated property experience.”
SNA Displays manufactured and installed the LED video wall, which features 6.67 mm pixel spacing. The display is 6’3″ by 60’11” along its longest edge and has a resolution of 288 pixels high by 2,784 pixels wide.
