Stampede’s 2018 Big Book of AV Tour & Conferences Series to Spotlight Drone and Display Business Opportunities at April 26th Stop in Minneapolis!

The future of unmanned aerial vehicles and innovative display visualization will be at the top of the agenda when Stampede, the global leader in value-added ProAV distribution, takes its 2018 Big Book of AV Tour & Conference Series to Minneapolis, Minnesota on Thursday, April 26th. The day-long event will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel (1300 Nicollet Mall Minneapolis, Minnesota 55403) from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM. Attendee registration is now open here.

“Minneapolis’ rich roots in healthcare startups are leading the Midwest in terms of venture capital funding for other developing technology startups and industries in the area,” Stampede President & COO Kevin Kelly said today. “Ranked on a list of the top Metros for Millennials, Minneapolis offers an existing technology community willing to nurture talent growth in the area and is strategically placed to take advantage of the talent pool from across the upper Midwestern states. This, along with the cities growing economy, presents Stampede with the ideal platform to host our Big Book of AV Tour & Conference Series, giving industry insiders the opportunity to meet with the tech community in the area and provide them with industry insights, technology updates and training forums fit for their business needs.”

The Samsung Experience Demo Room, which is designed to ask and answer the question: What does the future look like?, will be a key spotlight on this stop. Samsung Electronics understands that the future holds endless potential and exciting possibilities. At Samsung, the future is now, and it comes to life through a range of innovative display solutions. Displays tell our stories, amplify ideas and improve life. We have the power to turn vision into reality, showcase a world of action and shape the future. Guided tours will begin at 10:00AM and will occur every 30 minutes for the duration of the event.

The day will also feature an information-packed Overview of the Drone/UAS Industry and Business Potential and Drone Video Systems: A New AV Category for a New Age of Opportunities, both of which will be led by Dean of the School of Flight Training at Unmanned Vehicle University, Paul Dragos.

“Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and Direct View LED displays are two of the hottest and fastest growing product categories in the industry today,” Kelly emphasized, “and the Minneapolis stop is going to focus on the many business opportunities both categories offer.”

The day will begin at 9:00 AM with a dealer panel discussion, followed by the Tech Showcase Exhibit where attendees and manufacturers will meet one-on-one to discuss the latest products, systems and services. A complimentary breakfast will also be served during the showcase.
