Company’s H.264 and SDVoE VuStream Appliances Are Available in Various Form Factors, Resolutions, and Performance Features, Compatible with VuScape Controllers, and Centrally Configured and Managed by TRx AV-over-IP Management Platform
MONTREAL — Feb. 11, 2020 — VuWall, a leader in video wall control systems, has broadened its family of VuStream encoders and decoders. Demonstrated for the first time at ISE 2020 in Booth 15-K250, VuStream encoders and decoders support H.264 and Software Defined Video-over-Ethernet (SDVoE) standards. These solutions allow high-quality video streams to be delivered across an organization’s standard IP network. The VuStream Series includes a range of appliances available in various form factors, resolutions, and performance features to suit any application, even within the same deployment.
“Within a single project, there may be several video wall applications, each with its own requirements — such as a KVM operator desk, a video wall management system, as well as matrix switching and corporate signage within one room or facility — making it difficult and expensive to settle on a single format,” said Mark Schmidt, CTO at VuWall. “We have built all of our solutions based on H.264 and SDVoE open standards because we recognize the value of interoperability and giving customers the liberty to choose the right technology for each of their AV-over-IP installations. VuStream accommodates customer needs, giving them the flexibility to select the option that will best serve each application.”
The VuStream family includes the Series 100, 200, 300, and 500 to suit almost any AV-over-IP encoding or decoding requirements. The product line offers a mix of single, dual, or quad encoders and decoders; 1G or 10G network options; resolutions from HD to 4K; various performance factors from 4:2:0 up to 4:4:4; as well as uncompressed and zero latency streams. Among the options, the VuStream 300 Series delivers full IP-based KVM encoders and decoders. With built-in KVM capabilities, operators can remotely control all their sources over a standard IP network from their desktops as well as on the video wall.
VuStream appliances can be used alongside other H.264 and SDVoE encoders and decoders in the same ecosystem. Because VuStream appliances co-exist with other brands on the same network, every device in the system can be centrally managed by VuWall’s TRx centralized multi-videowall management platform. Operators benefit from simplified device management via a single common configuration and operation platform.
