NSCA Education Foundation Appoints New Members to Board of Directors

The NSCA Education Foundation has appointed new board members, Cory Schaeffer, Listen Technologies Corporation; Tom Hansen, Bosch Communications Systems; Jeff Kindig, AMX and TJ Trojan, Synnex Corporation.
“I’m looking forward to this opportunity to contribute to this worthy cause and I will work hard to bring more visibility to the foundation through my work on the board,” said Cory Schaeffer, Founder and Vice President of Sales Worldwide, Listen Technologies Corporation.
The Foundation’s activities have increasingly become more important to further career development for those interested in the commercial electronic systems industry. At this year’s Drunk Unkles charity concert during InfoComm 2013, the Foundation showcased a video featuring scholarship recipient Joshua Haddix, and how the Foundation helped him earn his degree in Electronic Systems in June 2013.
Since 1999, the NSCA Education Foundation has created educational opportunities to grow the commercial electronic systems industry. By providing financial assistance through scholarships, student memberships and the creation of an endowment for future scholarship opportunities, the Foundation assists in the development of an industry career path for students.
The Foundation has also become more involved with the efforts of the Electronic Systems Professional Alliance (ESPA), which provides entry-level education and certification to help new professionals within the electronic systems industry to choose the correct career path.
