Giant video screen specialist Graham Burgess has launcheddisplayLED, a giant video screen brokerage for all aspects of thebusiness from the sale of previously owned screens to new screens andrental projects. The company’s business hub is its Web site, www.displayLED.com,which went live on February 1 and carries details of screens availablefor purchase, as well as advice and background information to helppotential buyers in their choice.

displayLED is independent of any screen manufacturer and will beable to offer purchasers a choice of many different manufacturers andmodels, advising impartially on the best model for a particularapplication, the most appropriate previously owned screen forprice-sensitive ventures, and bring the right people together forrental projects.

“The combined experience within displayLED spans sales, marketing,technical support, and project management at an extremely high level,”says Burgess. “This means that whatever a client might want–be it apreviously owned screen, a new one, or help putting a rental projecttogether–we’re in the perfect position to find the screen thatwill best fit their needs. And our technical expertise means that wecan help them right the way through the process from initial advice,through project management and installation to maintenance in the yearsto come.”

Even before the company officially opened its doors, a number ofcontracts were already in the pipeline. “The word is spreading fast,”says Burgess. “Not only have we had a significant number of salesenquiries prior to launch we’ve also been approached by a numberof manufacturers who want us to sell their products exclusively. But wewill remain independent, as that’s what gives us the edge and ourclients the best deals.”

The experience of the displayLED team has included the sale,installation, and project management of projects such as the giantcurved screens for Coca-Cola in London’s Piccadilly Circus andCredit Suisse First Boston bank in Frankfurt; major league footballclubs such as Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, and Glasgow Rangers; andrental screens that have toured with artists such as the Rolling Stonesand Genesis, as well as sporting events such as Formula One Grand Prixand the World Athletics Championship in Gothenburg.

displayLED also offers consultancy and installation services throughDavid Gunn, who has worked with Graham for many years and heads thecompany’s technical support and integration team.
