Sabine’s New Navigator Control Software Enables Navigator Networks

Efficient and economical system control can now be done on an Ethernet network with the release of the network versions of Sabine‘s new Navigator system processors, as well as the latest control software. Three models are available and they can be mixed in any way on a Navigator Network.

Navigator Remote Control software version 5.02 includes the interface for controlling up to 16 networked Navigators in one software session. Linking functions are especially powerful, allowing for multiple audio functions to be linked across multiple channels within the 16 networked Navigators.

The NAV3600-EN, NAV4800-EN, and NAV8800-EN share all the features of the standard versions but they can be controlled from virtually anywhere in the world. Password security prevents unauthorized access and network information, including IP addresses, can be saved in dedicated setup files.

Sabine’s new Navigators are complete multi-input/output digital system processors with very flexible control options. Equally at home in both integration and touring applications, Navigators function as matrix mixers, loudspeaker processors, and signal routers.

All Navigator versions offer intuitive input/output configurations and fast front-panel control. Navigator Remote software provides access to the powerful equalization, crossover, gain management, and delay tools, as well as Sabine’s patented FBX Feedback Exterminator. Multi-room signal routing, intuitive presets, or speaker EQ and alignment—whatever the system needs, the Navigator can provide the precise processing and routing.

Navigator DSP resources are unlimited, so there are no DSP meters to monitor when adding DSP functions to the signal path. Users can engage the FBX Feedback Exterminator on all inputs and choose the maximum delay times (450 msec) and still have plenty of DSP power for all other signal processing.

The suggested list price for Navigators starts at $1099.95, and all models are now shipping.
